Setup Guide

3 steps

Create a Discord Application

Go to discord.com/developers/applications, click "New Application", give it a name (e.g. "AiDE Loop"), then navigate to the Bot tab and click "Add Bot". Copy the Bot Token and paste it above.

Configure Interaction Endpoint

In your Discord Application settings, go to General Information and set the Interactions Endpoint URL to the URL shown above. Discord will verify it with a PING challenge using your Public Key.

Invite Bot to Your Server

Go to OAuth2 → URL Generator, select the bot and applications.commands scopes. Enable Send Messages and Use Slash Commands bot permissions. Use the generated URL to invite the bot to your Discord server.

Available Slash Commands

/aide feedback

List recent feedback items for a specific application. Returns the top 5 most-voted open items with vote counts and status.

Example: /aide feedback app:AiDE Chat limit:10

/aide upvote

Upvote a feedback item by its ID. Calls the AiDE Loop API and confirms the vote with a reply in the same channel.

Example: /aide upvote id:abc-123

/aide comment

Add a comment to a feedback item. The comment is posted with the Discord username as the author name.

Example: /aide comment id:abc-123 text:"Great idea, this would save us a lot of time!"

/aide status

Get the current status and vote count of a feedback item. Returns an embedded card with full details.

Example: /aide status id:abc-123

/aide roadmap

Show the public roadmap — top voted items by status column (Open / Under Review / Resolved).
